I worked three shifts in a row at the hospital, then for the next two days off the weather was horrendous, so I was not able to do a long run or anything. Then I went back to work for two more days and today, on my day off, I got the cold. I feel all fatigued, and incredibly achy, and cranky. I have no energy, ate like the entire contents of our fridge today, and did not write in my food diary. I took a protest. I'm giving myself a week of no recordings, and I'll see how that goes. When I get sick I get very discouraged, eat too much, and because I can't exercise, feels like I'll never get back on track. Anyone else feel the same on these types of occasions?
